Dr. Kumar Parmanand is currently working as a consultant at Vedanta centre for ophthalmic sciences, Aashiyana Digha Road Patna Bihar. He is a seasoned ophthalmologist with more than 7 years of working experience in ophthalmology. He has completed his MBBS from NMCH Patna. He passed his MD Ophthalmology from prestigious Dr. Rajendra Prasad centre for ophthalmic sciences AIIMS, New Delhi. He has completed his senior residency in Vitreo- retina ,uvea ROP ,cataract and refractive surgery from AIIMS ,New Delhi. He is a fellow of the Royal college of Surgeon Glasgow, United Kingdom.

Dr. Kumar Parmanand is a prolific vitreo- retina, cataract and refractive surgeon. He has the experience of examining and providing treatment to more than 10000 retina patients. He has performed more than 2500 vitreo- retinal surgeries.

He has the experience of treating various types retinal disorders like diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, retinal vasculitis, retinal vascular occulusion etc. He is efficient in doing various types retinal procedure like intravitreal injections and retinal lasers.

He is also expert in managing ROP in different stages which occurs in premature babies.

Apart from being a great vitreo-retina surgeon, he is also a good cataract and refractive surgeon. He has performed more than 5000 phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia and has done 500+ refractive surgeries.

Dr. Kumar Parmanand is registered with Bihar medical council and Delhi medical council. He is also member of various ophthalmic associations like All india ophthalmic association (AIOS).

Apart from being a great clinician, he has also contributed in many national and international peer reviewed journals and books.
